YSEALI SEA Camp

The Youth Southeast Asian Leadership Initiative (YSEALI) Sea and Earth Advocates (SEA) Camp brought together 25 youth leaders from all over the Philippines for an intensive environmental education and leadership program in Boracay Island, Aklan. Resource speakers from six Southeast Asian countries mentored and taught the participants on topics such as marine protected areas, project management, and public speaking. At the end of the YSEALI SEA Camp, the participants implemented environmental projects in Boracay and also had the opportunity to pitch for projects that could be funded. The YSEALI SEA Camp is a project of the U.S. Embassy in Manila and Save Philippine Seas. It is supported by Human Nature, bobble water bottles, Havaianas, Lagu beach towels, Island Souvenirs, Thread 365, Aquamundo, and Nipa Foods.
